Leeman Underwood Jr.
Leeman Underwood Jr. 82, of Lampasas passed away Monday, October, 8th, 2007 at his home. Mr. Underwood served in the U.S. Navy and was retired from Phillips Petroleum, he was a member of the First Baptist Church in Lampasas.
Survivors include his wife, Gearldine “Jerry” Underwood of the home, 2 sons, Jimmy Leeman Underwood of Elk City, OK, and Arnold Jay Underwood on Linden, Pa., and 2 daughters, Terri Reed of McPherson, Kansas, and Jeanice Robinson of Lampasas. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Mr. Underwood was preceded in death by his parents, 4 brothers and 1 sister.
A Family Visitation will be held Thursday, October, 11th, from 6-8PM at the First Baptist Church in Lampasas. Funeral Services will be held Friday, October 12th, graveside at 11AM at the Pioneer Cemetery in near Pioneer, Texas.
Memorials may be made in memory of Leeman Underwood and in honor of Blake Austin Reen to the MDA, Muscular Dystrophy Tall Grass Executive Park, 8100 E. 22nd Street North, Building 2100-1, Wichita, Kansas, 67226.
