October 25, 2008
of winters texas passed away on October 25, 2008 after a two year battle with cancer. She was preceeded in death by her parents, Harry & Helen Bartz, and her husband Walter in 2005. She lived in San Angelo where she was an accounting manager for GTE until her marriage. She is survived by 5 sisters, 2 brothers, many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. She was loved by everyone who knew her for her generous nature and optimistic spirit. She was a blessing to all who met her and will be greatly missed.
Rosary will be recited on Monday, October 27, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. at the chapel of the Heritage Family Funeral Home . There will be a meal for family & friends at 12:30 PM Tuesday at St. Mary’s Hall. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, October 28, 20008 at 2:00 at St. Mary's Star of the Sea Catholic Church in Ballinger, with burial in the Crews Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in her name can be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital or the American Cancer Society.
Arrangements are under the direction of Heritage Family Funeral Home in Ballinger, Texas.
