Obituary for Rose Wynette Neff

Rose Wynette Neff, 83 of Rowena, passed away November 2, 2010, at her home. Graveside services are 2PM. Friday November 5, 2010 in the Rowena Protestant Cemetery with Art Mavrode officiating. Visitation will be 6-7 PM Thursday at Heritage Family Funeral Home.

Rose was born January 1, 1927 in Rowena to Lela and Fritz Pieper. She was the granddaughter of P.J. Baron and Mary Kubela. She attended and graduated from Rowena Public School. Rose married Garland Neff on December 3, 1949 in Rowena. Rose was a lifetime resident of Rowena, where she enjoyed a lifetime farming and ranching. She was a lifetime member of the Zoar Community Church in Rowena. Rose was an Avon representative for nearly 50 years. She enjoyed music, dancing, and especially playing the accordion.

Rose is survived by: son, Terry Neff of Rowena, special friends, Betty Stephens and Eddie Day both of Rowena, “brother”, Kirk Jones of Gatesville, and Godchild, Ida Marie Booher of Ballinger.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and a brother, F.J. Pieper Jr..
