Billy W. Kemp, 69, passed away peacefully Sunday, October 23, 2011 at the Rotary House of Hopein San Angelo under the care of Vista Care.
A memorial service celebrating his life will be held at the First Baptist Church in Bronte, Saturday the29th of October at 2:00 pm with John Driggers, officiating.
Bill was born July 11, 1942 in Ballinger Texas to Henry and Lorene Kemp. The family later moved toSan Angelo where he attended school. At a young age he went to work in the oil field, first as a "rough neck" then later on as an independent directional driller. This job sent him to many locations all over theworld where he saw many sights, made many special friends and had stories to tell about them all.Billy was preceded in death by his parents and brother Glen Kemp.
He is survived by his children, sons Keith Kemp, Mike Kemp and Kenny Kemp, daughters KimberlyCullison and husband Brent and Kelly Kemp. Brother Jerry Kemp and wife Joy and sister Gwen Dyessand husband Larry. Two special grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.We wish to say a special thanks to Dr Denver Marsh, Valerie Mills and all the staff in their offices. AlsoVista Care in San Angelo for their loving care and compassion in his last days.
Services are under the direction of Heritage Family Home of Ballinger, Texas
