Obituary for John Bickford

John W. Bickford, 90 of Clyde Nursing Home died Wednesday June 20, 2012 in Clyde Nursing Center.
Memorial Services will be July 7, 2012 in Brownwood Church Of Christ. John born in Keota Iowa moved to Evansville Indiana at an early age. He met Helen (Seavers) and was married for 65 years. He moved from there to Denver Colorado in about 1956, and lived there until February of 2009. He then came to live with his daughter Jean Patterson of Baird Texas, and then to Clyde Nursing Home, until his death. He was a happy man always teasing someone. He never said anything about someone unless it was positive. He loved being around people. He loved music, and was an Artist. He enjoyed doing paintings and was a wood carver of birds and many other things. John was a machinist by trade. He worked at Martin Co. Ball Corp. and various others over his working life. He was preceded in death by wife Helen (Seavers) Bickford and Grandson Joshua Bickford. Surviving is his brother James Bickford and children, Jean Patterson and husband Don of Baird TX. John Bickford Jr. of Denver Colorado Mike Bickford and wife Diane of Gainesville TX.Charles Bickford of Denver Colorado. 10 Grandchildren and 11 Great Grandchildren
