Mirl Dean Horton 77 of Ballinger Passed away on April 15, 2013.
Mirl was born to the proud parents of Mirl and Mary Horton on November 23, 1935 in Wingate Texas. He married his lovely wife Martha on November 25, 1959. Survived by five sons Virgil (Rusty) Horton and wife Loretta of Wilmeth TX., Edward (Peewee) Horton and wife Karen of Ballinger TX., Roy (Skeeter) Horton and wife Lois of Ballinger TX., Joseph (Buttons) Horton and wife Vickie of Eufaula Ok., Mirl (Shorty) Horton and wife Shawna of Ballinger TX. They had 1 daughter Martha (sissy) Horton of Ballinger TX., three brothers Harold Horton of Ballinger TX., Jerry Horton of Virginia, Larry Horton of Winters TX. 26 Grandchildren, 13 Great Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Brothers Leon and Leo, Sisters Naomi Herridge, Winnie Cantwell, and Iva Potts, and grandchild Heath Horton. Viewing will be Tuesday April 16, 2013. Funeral Service will be Wednesday April 17, 2013 at 2:00pm in the Chapel of Heritage Family Funeral Home in Ballinger TX. Funeral will be Officiated by Kenneth Plumley of New Life Refuge Church. Interment will follow at Wilmeth Cemetery.
