Vada Mae Fleming passed away peacefully in her home on April 4, 2015 in O’Donnell, TX.
Vada was born March 28, 1940 in O’Donnell, TX. To Edward and Mae Summers.
Vada attended school in O’Donnell, TX. Vada married Elvin Wayne Fleming on May 28, 1958. Vada is survived by her husband of 56 years, two daughters Sherry Rodriguez of O’Donnell, TX., Shellie Bairrington husband Kelly of Draw TX., one son James Fleming wife Lori of Burleson ,TX. She was preceded in death by three sisters Louise Altum, Lorene Engle and Pat Shubert, one brother Jodie and her beloved grandson Joey Martinez. Vada loved life, she loved fishing, reading, and working in her yard. Most of all she loved her family. Her grandchildren and great grandchildren were her greatest joy. In Lieu of flowers family suggests donations be made to Hospice of Lubbock. A Memorial Service will be held at the Baptist church in Paint Rock TX. , on Thursday April 9,2015 at 2:00 pm. Arrangements have been entrusted to Heritage Family Funeral Home of Ballinger TX.
