Obituary for Judy Gwen O'Rear







Judy Gwen O’Rear 67 of Argyle, TX. Formerly of Lake O.H. Ivie passed away on
Wednesday, December 3rd, 2014 surrounded by her family.
Judy was born in Corsicana, Texas on September 26th, 1947. Mrs. O’Rear worked for Texas Tech University Health
Science Center as a billing supervisor for 17 years. After a brief retirement she returned to the workforce with
Angelo State University as the Assistant Registrar
completing 15 years of service before final retirement in 2012. She is preceded in death by her Father and Mother Johnie and Flora Bates, her husband William “Pete” O’Rear, sister Sharon Nevill, and 1 grandson Michael
David Dorman. She is survived by 3 sisters and 2 brothers. 2 daughters,
Dana Mauppin of FT. Worth, TX. and daughter and
Sonin­Law Wendy and Billy Treadway of Argyle, TX. Four
grandchildren Dustin, Kari, Meisha, and Tyler and 7 great grandchildren Services for Mrs. O’Rear will be at Heritage Funeral Home located in Ballinger Texas. Funeral services will be on Saturday December 6th, 2014 at 12 noon at Heritage
Funeral Home. Graveside services will follow at Concho
Cemetery in Concho County.
