Joesphine “Jo” M. Smith
Joesphine “Jo” M. Smith, 64, of Winters, went to be with the Lord, Sunday December 19, 2010. Rosary will be 7 PM Tuesday, December 21, 2010 at Heritage Family Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral service will be 2PM Wednesday, December 22, 2010 at Heritage Family Funeral Home with Deacon Enrique Martinez officiating. Burial to follow in Lakeview Cemetery in Winters.
Jo was born August 1, 1946 in Medina County to Isabel and Joe Rodriguez. She was very avid mother, grandmother, and aunt, and especially being “Nanny”. She devoted her life to her children, family, and friends, fighting to the end. Jo had an enduring love for her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Jo is survived by: two daughters, Deana Martinez and husband Johnny, and Shoni Smith, son Shon Smith, five grandchildren Tia Lamb, Jonthan Horton, Dusty Hines, Shelby Martinez, and Bailey Martinez, a great-granddaughter, Myah Payne, all of Winters, three sisters, Gloria Ochoa, Mary Rodriguez, Bonnie McMahn, six brothers, Joe Rodriguez, Eloy Rodriguez, Gilbert Rodriguez, Eddie Rodriguez, Jimmy Rodriguez, and Santos Rodriguez, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by: her parents and brother, Mike Rodriguez.
