Alta May Esterday , 89 of Paint Rock ,Texas passed away March 10, 2012.She was born June 9, 1922 at Acasto, Missouri, Nathan S. and Alice Maries Agee Cochenour. She married Clark Bennett in Kahoka, Missouri, December 25, 1940. Later mariied Clifford Esterday of Revere, Missouri, on Septemeber 28, 1978. Clifford Preceded her in death in December,1981.
Survivors include son Larry Joe Bennett (wife Nancy), Daughter Luticia (Tish),Bennet btoh of Paint Rock, Texas. Grandson Clark Bennett of Illinois. Greatgrand Children, C.J. Rebecca, Terri and Damion Bennett also Great Great Grandson, K.C.Bennett all of Paint Rock Texas.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three Brothers, Richard, ross Edward, and Nathan Cochenor and one sister Mary Blanche Talbott.
Alta graduated from Kahoka High School in 1940. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Paint Rock. She retired from St Louis Dye-Casting in Keokuk Iowa, in 1980, before moving to Paint Rock, Texas.
