Obituary for Hazel Dearing

Hazel Dearing , went to be with her Lord and Savior on January 7, 2014
. Arrangements are being made by Heritage Family Funeral Home in Ballinger TX. Hazel was born to Johnny and Opeal Penny , on May 18, 1923 in Quinlan TX. She was 90 years of age.
We would like to give a heart warm thanks to Ballinger Healthcare and Rehab. and all the nurses and staff. We also what to thank Odyssey Hospice of San Angelo TX. for giving her great care and love and lots of support. We would also like to give our love and thanks to Billy and his wife for being there for her.
She married Tom Dearing on October 20, 1942 in Raymondville TX. They moved to San Angelo, TX. Where they made home. She was a homemaker, she loved her Lord and her family dearly. She never met a stranger, she would do anything to help someone, no matter what it took. She will be missed by all.
She is survived by one son Howard Dearing of Bishop TX. , also many grandchildren and great grandchildren. One brother Billy and his wife Geneva of San Angelo TX. One sister Helen Dunham husband Grover of Conway Ark.
Hazel was preceded in death by her parents one daughter Shirley Arms, one son J.D. Dearing Four brothers Marvin, David , Paul, and Henry B. Penny, two sisters Naomi Penny and Wanda Newson. Hazel will be resting with her husband Tom Dearing, at Fairmont Cemetery in San Angelo TX.
There will be a graveside Memorial Service Monday at 11:00 am, Reverend Vernon Groce will be officiating. The family requests in lieu of flowers if you would like to make a donation make it to Full Gospel Assembly at 1017 Alexander, San Angelo TX. 76901.
